“Pemberian Yang Terbaik”
Renungan Harian Anak, Selasa 20 Desember 2020
Bacaan Firman Tuhan : Lukas 2 : 8-20
Haloooo adik adik Elohim Kids… Selamat Pagi semuanya… Gimana nih kabarnya?? Semuanya dalam keadaan baik dan sehat selalu kan? Wahhh… gak terasa ya, ternyata sekarang udah bulan 12. Berarti sebentar lagi kita akan merayakan natal.
Gimana nih natal tahun ini, kira-kira apa aja nih persiapannya? Oia… biasanya ketika natal, adik adik dapat hadiah gak sih? Entah itu hadiah dari papa, mama, atau kakak. Bicara tentang natal dan hadiah, kakak ada sebuah cerita nih tentang seorang penggembala yang memberi hadiah. Disimak baik baik ya.
Pada suatu malam, tinggallah para gembala gembala dipadang, untuk menjaga domba dombanya yang sedang makan rumput. Gembala-gembala ini adalah gembala biasa, bukan orang yang kaya dan punya harta yang banyak. Tiba-tiba ada sebuah cahaya yang sangat putih datang dan mendekat ke gembala itu. Ketika para gembala itu melihat cahaya itu semakin dekat kepada mereka, mereka semua menjadi sangat ketakutan.
Ternyata cahaya yang sangat putih itu adalah Malaikat Tuhan, dan malaikat itu berkata kepada para gembala itu supaya ia jangan takut, karena Malaikat itu ingin memberitahukan kesukaan besar untuk seluruh bangsa. Malaikat memberitahu tentang kelahiran Yesus. Dan gembala-gembala itu terkejut seakan tidak percaya, karena mereka merasa bahwa mereka hanya orang biasa, yang selalu dipandang rendah oleh orang lain.
Adik adik…. Tuhan Yesus ketika lahir kedunia, Dia tidak hanya datang hanya untuk orang kaya saja,Yesus lahir kedunia untuk semua baik orang miskin, orang kaya,orang sehat, orang sakit, baik yang tinggal didesa atau dikota. Pokoknya Tuhan Yesus datang untuk semua orang.
Undangan Tuhan Yesus ini membuat gembala gembala sangat bersukacita. Para gembala tidak membawa hadiah ketika Yesus Lahir, mereka hanya membawa diri dan hati mereka sepenuhnya.
Adik adik.. Tuhan Yesus juga mau kita seperti para gembala tadi. Tuhan Yesus tidak membutuh hadiah natal sepatu, baju, tas, atau apapun dari kita. Tuhan Yesus hanya mau hati dan hidup kita saja. Seperti para gembala memberikan dan mempersembahkan hidup dan hati mereka, kitapun juga harus memberikan hati kita sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan. Caranya adalah dengan hidup Taat, dan Mengasihi Tuhan.
Yuk natal tahun ini, kita berikan hati dan hidup kita sepenuhnya untuk Tuhan.

Roma 12:1b, supaya kamu mempersembahkan tubuhmu sebagai persembahan yang hidup, yang kudus dan yang berkenan kepada Allah
Komitmenku:
Tuhan Yesus, aku mau seperti gembala yang memberikan hati dan hidupnya sepenuhnya kepadaMu. Ajari aku Tuhan, supaya bisa memberi yang terbaik yang kepadaMu.
